Gianluca Scamacca, PSG Target Who 'Copy Paste' Ibra and Pogba

Gianluca Scamacca is rumored to be one of Paris Saint-Germain's targets this summer. He is a player who imitates Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.

Scamacca is still under contract with Sassuolo until June 2026. However, the club nicknamed I Neroverdi is willing to let go of the striker if anyone dares to pay 50 million euros

The 23-year-old striker had a good season in 2021/2022 by scoring 16 goals from 36 Serie A matches. This record became his highest score in his professional career in the league.

Gianluca Scamacca studied football in the youth teams of Lazio and AS Roma. He then went to the Netherlands in 2015 to join the youth team of PSV Eindhoven.

Scamacca returned to Sassuolo in 2017, where he went on loan to Cremonese, PEC Zwolle, Ascoli and Genoa. Scamacca's progress continued to increase until he was called to the senior Italian national team and made PSG tempted.

In an interview on La Gazzetta dello Sport, Scamacca named a player he considers a role model. Ibrahimovic and Pogba serve as examples.

"I like comparisons with Ibra, but I also like doing different things like leaving the box, providing assists," he said.

"My role models also include midfielders like (Paul) Pogba. He's tall, slender and very skilled with his feet," Scamacca confirmed.

Gianluca Scamacca doesn't have to worry if he actually becomes a PSG player. There were compatriots, namely Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marco Verratti
