Manchester United performed well during pre-season, under the command of new manager Erik ten Hag. Jadon Sancho to think this is not the previous MU.
Changes occurred in the body of MU this summer. The arrival of Erik ten Hag brings hope that the Red Devils can improve their appearance.
Ten Hag's concoction tactics, plus the arrival of new players such as Tyrell Malacia, allowed MU to sweep away victory in pre-season. From three matches, Jadon Sancho et al could win 4-0 over Liverpool, 4-1 over Melbourne Victory, and 3-1 over Crystal Palace
Jadon Sancho, who has also scored twice during pre-season, praised Erik ten Hag's performance at Manchester United this summer.
He feels the current team really looks different than before.
"This pre-season, we have the same players but it looks like a completely different team, and I think that is something we are working on. I think we are also getting better," said Jadon Sancho, on the club's official website.
"The manager really emphasizes team bonding, having fun together, and doing things like team dinners and stuff like that. So, yeah, that helps a lot," he said.
Last season,
Manchester United struggled under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, even under Ralf Rangnick. The Manchester giants only finished sixth in the Premier League and missed out on all cup championships.
