In the first week, the 2020-2021 Ligue 1 champions LOSC Lille were held to a draw by Metz. Meanwhile, rich French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won their first win over Troyes.In the first week of the 2021-2022 French League, six matches ended in a draw.

In addition to the draw achieved by Lille, AS Monaco, Lyon, Rennes, Nice, and Lorient also achieved a draw.The four teams that won the first week apart from Paris Saint-Germain were Clermont Foot, Angers and Marseille.

AS Monaco, who played matchday 1 at home, was held to a 1-1 draw at Nantes.Leading first through Gelson Martins' goal in the 14th minute, AS Monaco failed to maintain their advantage.

Nantes' Jean-Charles Castelletto managed to score the equalizer before the first half ended in the 42nd minute.Lyon were also held to a draw at home to Brest with the score 1-1.

The difference is that Lyon conceded first by Irvin Cardona's goal in the 43rd minute.Lyon survived thanks to Islam Slimani's goal in the 62nd minute of the second half.Defending champions LOSC Lille who played at home to Metz had to go home with one point after ending the match with a 3-3 draw.

Lille took the lead through Sven Botman's goal in the 23rd minute.But Metz scored 3 goals back through Fabien Centonze (31'), Matthieu Udol (41') and Fabien Centonze (52').

Stung by conceding 3 goals, Lille only managed to reply to two goals which made the final result 3-3 through goals from Jonathan Ikone (81') and Burak Yilmaz (90+7').

PSG who are gathering strength to reclaim the title won 2-1 on mathday 1.Conceded first by a quick goal from player Troyes Oualid El Hajjam in the 9th minute, PSG quickly responded.

Two counter goals were created in 2 minutes each through Achraf Hakimi in the 19th minute, and Mauro Icardi's goal in the 21st minute.

Then Bordeaux were surprisingly defeated by visitors Clermont Foot.Mohamed Bayo (82') and Jodel Dossou (90+3') scored the two goals for the away side which cost Bordeaoux 0-2.Marseille won on matchday 1 with a score of 3-2 over Montpellier.

Conceded first by Luan Peres' own goal in the 30th minute and Gaetan Laborde's goal (34').Marseille could only reply to 3 goals in the second half through goals from Cengiz Under (68') and two goals from Dimitri Payet (75' & 80').

This result brings Clermont Foot and Angers to the top of the 2021-2022 French League standings in the first week with a value of 3.

Marseille, who won 3-2 over Monpellier, is in 3rd place and Parisa Saint-Germain is in 4th place with 3 points too.
