Dortmund beat Frankfurt

Erling Haaland performed brilliantly when Borussia Dortmund beat Eintracht Frankfurt 5-2. All of Die Borussen's goals cannot be separated from the role of the 21-year-old striker. Excellent!

The match at Signal Iduna Park, Saturday (14/8/2021) night WIB was the first week of the Bundesliga this season. But Haaland immediately appeared crazy. He really made it difficult for Frankfurt's defense.

Speed, toughness to control the ball, until the foresight to read the space he has is really first class. Combined with the counter-attack that is Dortmund's mainstay in this match, Frankfurt practically can't match.

Haaland sprinted through the half before turning the ball to Marco Reus who scored the first goal. He then cleverly fed the ball to Thorgan Hazard who was empty on the right side of the penalty box, to create the second goal.

Haaland also outwit the Frankfurt back line in the process of the fourth goal. As if he wanted to shoot directly in the penalty box, his shot went straight to Gio Reyna, who was free and then scored.

Haaland's precise decision-making was enhanced by scoring the third and fifth goals for Dortmund. Everything from the counter-attack process, where Haaland ran fast with the ball then completed the opportunity to become a goal.

Haaland has now scored 62 goals in 61 games for Dortmund. That means, he has an average of more than one goal per game!

Two goals and three assists against Frankfurt have also become a strong signal for opposing defenders this season, so that they don't get carried away by facing Dortmund. A little careless, guaranteed to run out by Haaland.

The sharpness of Haaland will be awaited again when Dortmund meet Bayern Munich in the match for the German Super Cup on 18 August.
