PSG's current material is star-studded. Even one of the players, Angel Di Maria, believes that his team can attract the interest of many great figures in the world of football, including Cristiano Ronaldo.
PSG is quite active in the transfer market this summer, but not as extravagant as usual. They brought in six players, four of whom were recruited for free after the contract with the previous club expired.
PSG's total expenditure this summer was 76 million euros, which was used to buy Achraf Hakimi and Danilo Pereira. Other recruits such as Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma did not cost transfers.
However, among the six purchases of Les Parisien, the arrival of Lionel Messi was the most broken. They secured the winner of the six Ballon d'Or trophies after Barcelona confirmed they could not tie him to a new contract.
The addition of Lionel Messi clearly makes the PSG squad even more classy. They are seeded to win all possible trophies in one season including their dream title, the Champions League.
Di Maria firmly believes that the quality of his team this season is unmatched. He believes all players in the world will try their best to help strengthen PSG, which is full of stars, including Ronaldo.
"Cristiano Ronaldo would really like to be here," Di Maria told TyC Sport. "The quality and quantity of players at PSG is something unique."
"This rarely happens at clubs and great people always want to play for the best. Cristiano would have been happy to be here, but they signed Messi and luckily, it's better like this," he continued.
Di Maria highly praised Messi's quality as a footballer. He had never seen the quality of his compatriot despite having played alongside other great players.
"Messi is in another category. You throw a rock at him and he stops it, he does it like nothing happened. He thinks before anything else," Di Maria added.
"I've never seen anything like this. I've played with Cristiano, Neymar, Mbappe, Rooney, Van Persie, Ibrahimovic, Benzema, Bale and to be honest, I've never seen anything like this."
"Leo is something unique. For me, it's very easy to play with him. If you run, he passes the ball to you right at your feet. No excuses. I have a very good relationship with him, even when outside field," he concluded.
